TACAM Father’s Day Picnic was held on June 17th at Kensington Park - the event was a great success and thanks to everyone for their attendance. There were about 100 people at the event and everybody enjoyed their time. Shish kofte and kunefe were definitely highlights of the day! There were games set up for families and the winners got a T-shirt with “Best Baba” written on the back. Backgammon tournament, volleyball and soccer games were also enjoyed by the participants. TACAM’s annual Father’s Day Picnic will be held June 17th at Kensington Park. Join us for our Annual day of fun at TACAM’s Father’s Day Picnic.There will be Turkish Food, Music, and Exciting & Fun Games for the Kids and Adults. Plus enjoy the glorious beauty of Kensington Park as you socialize with new and old friends. Come and be a part of the Turkish American community in Michigan. There is a beach and boat rental site a short walking distance away, so enjoy the fresh, clean lake after the picnic. Price: Free! $4 Park admission per vehicle, so pack your car and have a great time! TACAM will provide fresh off the grill hamburgers and hot dogs; along with plates, napkins, cups & utensils! To share in the hospitality please bring some additional food to share with everyone: homemade or store-bought such as additional salads, snacks, dessert, fruits and also bring your own drinks and plan on sharing!
