Panel Discussion with Consul General of Turkey Kenan İpek

Honorable U. Kenan İpek, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Chicago, visited Detroit on June 23rd to attend the panel discussion hosted by TACAM. Mr. İpek was the key note speaker and he talked about the political issues related to Turkey. TACAM also welcomed two other speakers - Mr. Gunay Evinch, president elect of ATAA, talked about US-Turkish relations, while Mr. Lincoln McCurdy, Turkish Coalition USA Political Action Committee Treasurer, discussed the importance of Turkish-Americans being involved in the US Political System. The event lasted over three hours and was much enjoyed with all the attendees.
